Logo License
Last updated 2026-10-26
The short version
You can use your logo for anything your business does, forever. You can't resell it as a template.
- The files you download are yours. No attribution to Graphivo is ever needed.
- Downloads are active for 30 days after you buy a package, or while your monthly plan is active. The license of the files you download in that time does not expire: when your downloads end, you keep using those files under this license. The time limit applies to new downloads only.
- Your license is exclusive: we will not sell or license the final designs you downloaded to anyone else, and we will not use them in our marketing without your permission.
- The usage rights are the same for every package. Packages differ in credits and extra assets; Studio adds a client-work license, so you can create logos for clients and hand them over.
- The logo was generated with AI. We cannot guarantee copyright protection or that it is free of conflicts with existing trademarks, so have a trademark attorney run a clearance search before you invest heavily in it.
- The license of a file ends only if the payment under which you downloaded it is refunded or charged back.
The rest of this page sets out the precise terms. This Logo License is part of our Terms of Service; the licensor is Astirna LLC ("we", "us").
1. Definitions
- Logo: a final logo design created in your Graphivo account and downloaded during a Download Period, identified by the logo ID on its license certificate. It includes the color variants, layouts (lockups) and edited versions of that design for the same brand.
- Files: the downloadable files we produce from the Logo (for example PNG, SVG, PDF and EPS files, icon packs, the brand kit and other brand assets).
- Plan: the best package with an active Download Period when a File is downloaded (Starter, Pro or Studio), or the monthly plan, which includes at least the Pro files. Your plan decides which Files you receive and whether the client-work license applies; the usage rights are the same for every plan.
- Purchase: a credit package bought once, or a paid month of the monthly plan, that has not been refunded or charged back.
- Download Period: the 30 days after a package Purchase, or the time a monthly plan is active and paid. Each Purchase has its own period from its own payment; periods are not added together, and while several are active the best package applies.
- You: the person or business whose account created the Logo, or the person or business to whom the license has been transferred under section 9.
2. The license we grant
For every Logo and File you download during a Download Period, we grant you a worldwide, perpetual, exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, display and distribute it for any commercial or personal purpose, subject to the limits in this license. You own the copies of the Files that you download. The license is granted when you download and does not end when the Download Period ends; we record what you downloaded and when, and your account keeps a license certificate for each Logo (section 11).
What "exclusive" means. We will not sell, license or give your final design to anyone else, and we will not use it in our marketing, examples or public gallery without your permission. Exclusivity does not extend to generic elements (such as common shapes, symbols, color combinations or layouts) or to the fonts, and it cannot prevent similar artwork from being generated independently for someone else (see section 7).
Watermarked previews are not licensed for use. They are for evaluation only.
3. What each package includes
Every package comes with the same license described on this page and covers every logo you download during its Download Period. The table shows what differs. Prices and details are on the pricing page.
| Package | Starter | Pro | Studio |
|---|---|---|---|
| Usage rights | Exclusive, perpetual, worldwide commercial license | Same as Starter | Same as Starter, plus the client-work license (section 9) |
| Vector files (SVG, PDF, EPS) | Included | Included | Included |
| Transparent PNG | Up to 5000 px | Up to 5000 px | Up to 5000 px |
| Color variants and layouts | Full color, black, white and on-dark (when the design has one); horizontal, stacked and icon-only, in every package | ||
| Downloads | Every logo in your account, for 30 days after purchase (monthly plan: while it is active). Editing stays free. | ||
| Brand kit (colors and fonts), social media kit and profile pictures, favicon and app icons | Not included | Included | Included |
| Brand guidelines PDF, business cards, letterhead and email signature, mockups | Not included | Not included | Included |
| Credits | 40, for 30 days | 150, for 30 days | 500, for 30 days |
The monthly plan includes at least the Pro Files, whichever package you choose. If several Download Periods are active, the Files follow the best package among them. Editing is available for as long as your account exists and Graphivo operates; new downloads need an active Download Period. Your license itself does not depend on the service or on a Download Period: it continues after your downloads end, and even if Graphivo shuts down.
4. What you may do
- Use the Logo for any commercial or personal purpose, in any country, for as long as you like.
- Use it in all media: websites, apps, social media, print, signage, vehicles, packaging, advertising, and merchandise you sell (for example T-shirts or mugs that carry your brand), in unlimited copies.
- Modify it yourself, or have a designer or printer modify, adapt or reproduce it for you.
- Apply to register it as a trademark, at your own risk. We recommend a clearance search by a trademark attorney first (see section 7).
- Transfer the license together with the business or brand it identifies (see section 9).
- Use it without crediting Graphivo. No attribution is required.
5. What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense or give away the Logo or the Files as a logo template, stock image, clip art, design asset or NFT, or offer them on a logo or template marketplace. Selling products that carry your own brand is fine.
- Use the Logo in a way that infringes anyone else's rights, or for unlawful purposes.
- Claim exclusive rights over generic elements of the Logo (such as common shapes, symbols or color combinations) or over the fonts used in it, or try to stop others from using those elements or fonts.
- Use watermarked previews as final artwork.
6. Fonts
When your brand name is set in a real font, the text in the exported vector files is converted to outlines (vector shapes), so you do not need the font installed to use the files.
- The fonts are third-party open-source fonts licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. One family, Satisfy, is licensed under the Apache License 2.0.
- The fonts are not exclusive to you. Anyone may use the same fonts, and your exclusive license covers the Logo as a whole, not the typeface.
- To set matching text elsewhere (on your website, menus or documents), you may download the same font from its source, for example Google Fonts, and use it under its own license.
- Some font names are Reserved Font Names under the Open Font License. That only means a modified version of a font may not be distributed under the original name; it does not restrict using the outlined text in your Logo.
7. AI-generated artwork: important limits
Your Logo was generated automatically by AI and then converted to vector shapes and edited. That affects what we can promise.
- Copyright is not guaranteed. Copyright protection may be limited or unavailable for AI-generated material. For example, the US Copyright Office does not register material generated purely by AI; your own creative changes may be treated differently, and other countries have their own rules.
- Similar output can exist. The Logo is original artwork generated for your brief, not a template icon, but similar artwork may be generated independently for someone else, and the Logo may resemble existing logos or trademarks.
- No warranty against third-party rights. We do not warrant that the Logo is free of third-party rights or that it can be registered as a trademark.
- Clearance is your responsibility. Before you invest in signage, printing or a trademark application, have a trademark attorney run a clearance search in the countries where you operate.
What we do promise: the Files you download are yours, your license is exclusive and perpetual as described above, and we never sell or license your final design to anyone else.
8. Brand assets and converted logos
Brand assets. The brand kit, social media kit and profile pictures, favicon and app icons (Pro and Studio), and the brand guidelines, business cards, letterhead, email signature and mockups (Studio) are licensed for the brand of the Logo: you may print, publish and adapt them with your Logo. The underlying layouts are our templates and are not exclusive; you may not resell or distribute them as templates.
Logos you convert. You may only attach a logo that you own or have the right to convert. We claim no rights in your logo or in the vector version we create from it. You receive the vector output to use for any purpose your rights in the original allow. Sections 2 and 7 (exclusivity and AI limits) apply only to logos designed with Graphivo, not to logos you convert.
9. Transferring the license
- You may transfer the license to someone else only together with the business or brand the Logo identifies, for example when you sell your business. The license transfers as a whole, and you must stop using the Logo afterwards.
- Client work (Studio). For Logos you downloaded during a Studio Download Period, you may create logos for your clients and transfer the license for a Logo, with its Files, to the one client it was made for. This right stays with those Logos after the Download Period ends. After the transfer, the client holds the license on these terms. You may show the Logo in your portfolio if your client agrees.
- Tell us about a transfer at support@graphivo.com if you want a license certificate in the new holder's name.
10. When the license ends
The license is perpetual. It does not end when your Download Period ends, when you cancel a monthly plan or when your credits expire. It ends automatically only if the payment under which a File was downloaded is refunded or charged back; in that case you must stop using the Files downloaded under that payment and delete them. Files downloaded under other payments keep their license. See the Refund Policy.
11. Your license certificate
Every download ZIP contains a LICENSE.txt file with your logo ID, brand name, the account's email address, your plan, the date you first downloaded the Logo and the date of the certificate. Your account keeps a certificate for each Logo you downloaded (with the first and latest download and what you downloaded), also after your Download Period ends. Keep it as proof of your license.
