Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-10-26

These terms explain how you can use Graphivo and what you get when you buy credits. We have tried to write them in plain language. Short summaries come first; the precise rules follow.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Graphivo (graphivo.com, the "service") is operated by Astirna LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, with mailing address 8 The Green, Ste B, Dover, Delaware 19901, United States ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@graphivo.com. Full company details are in the Imprint.

These terms apply to everyone who uses the service. Together with the Logo License and the Refund Policy, they form the contract between you and us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

A "consumer" is a person who uses the service mainly for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. A "business" is anyone acting for their trade, business or profession, including freelancers, sole traders and agencies. Some sections give consumers extra rights; nothing in these terms takes away rights that consumers have under the mandatory law of the country where they live.

2. What Graphivo does

  • You describe your logo in plain words, and you can attach images such as a sketch, a photo or a logo you like. Designs are generated automatically by AI from your description. You can refine any design by saying what to change. The service providers involved are listed in the Privacy Policy.
  • Each design is automatically converted into vector shapes. Depending on the logo type you choose, the brand name is either set in real fonts ("Symbol + text") or drawn as part of the artwork ("Full AI logo").
  • A browser editor lets you change colors, shapes and the arrangement of your logo. Symbol + text logos also support font changes and preset layouts; Full AI lettering is vector artwork. Editing is free.
  • Generating designs uses credits (section 6). You receive free credits to start; more come with credit packages or the optional monthly plan (section 7). Downloading final files without a watermark requires an active package (30 days from purchase) or an active monthly plan.
  • You can also attach an existing PNG or JPG logo and have it converted into vector files. This uses credits like any other design.

3. Who can use Graphivo

You must be at least 16 years old. To make a purchase you must be able to enter into a binding contract; if you are under the age of majority where you live, you need the consent of a parent or guardian. If you use Graphivo for a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf. Graphivo is offered to both consumers and businesses.

4. Free credits

Without signing up, you receive 4 free credits, enough for one round of 4 designs. A new account receives 8 more free credits, once per person (section 5). Free credits expire 30 days after they are added. Without active downloads (section 7), designs are watermarked previews: you can view them, refine them and open them in the editor, but you cannot download them.

  • To keep free credits available for everyone, we limit free generations per device and per network (IP address), and we use bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). The Privacy Policy explains the data involved.
  • We may change, reduce or pause free credits at any time, for example when the daily free capacity has been reached or when we detect automated use. In that case we may ask you to sign in or try again later. This does not affect anything you have already paid for.
  • Designs you create without an account are kept for 30 days. If you sign in within that time, they are moved to your account; otherwise they are deleted.

5. Accounts

You can create an account with Sign in with Google or with a one-time sign-in link sent to your email address. We do not use passwords. A new account receives 8 additional free credits, once per person, and lets you save designs.

  • Give us a real email address that you control; we send sign-in links, receipts and download links there.
  • Keep access to your email and Google account secure. Anyone who can open your sign-in links can use your account. Tell us right away at support@graphivo.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • Creating several accounts to get more free credits is not allowed.

Cloud storage. Every account includes 5 GB of cloud storage for designs, their version history, pictures and logos. While a package or monthly plan is active you have more (20 GB with Starter, 50 GB with Pro, 100 GB with Studio). Designs you keep on your device are stored in your browser, not by us, and do not count.

  • If you are over your storage, you can still open, edit and download everything, but new pictures and changes that make designs bigger have to wait until there is room.
  • When a package or plan ends and you store more than the storage you have without it, we keep everything for 60 days. We email you when this starts and again 30, 7, 1 days before the date, and your account shows the exact date and what would be deleted first. Within that time you can renew, buy a package that covers your storage, download everything or delete things yourself. After the 60 days we delete only what is over your storage, in the order it was created, oldest first, with old version history (copies of your designs) first, and we stop as soon as you are within your storage. A picture that a remaining design uses is not deleted.
  • Accounts that are not used. If your account has no active package or plan and you have not signed in or used it for 2 years, we email you. If you do not sign in within 60 days of that email, we delete the designs, pictures, version history, logos and uploads in your account. Your account itself, your invoices and the licences of files you downloaded remain. Signing in at any time before the date keeps everything.
  • We cannot promise to restore deleted data, so download anything you want to keep. Files you downloaded keep their license.

6. Credits

What a credit is. One credit generates one design (one generated image). New designs usually come 4 at a time, or as many as you ask for (up to 6), one credit each. Refining a design uses 1 to 4 credits, one for each new version. Converting an existing logo into vector files uses 2 credits. The number of credits a request uses is shown before you send it. If an image cannot be generated, its credit is returned. Editing and downloading do not use credits.

How you get credits. Free credits (section 4), credit packages bought once, and the monthly plan (sections 7 and 8).

Expiry. Credits expire. Free credits expire 30 days after they are added. Credits from a package (Starter, Pro or Studio) expire 30 days after purchase. Credits from the monthly plan expire at the end of the billing period for which they were added; unused credits do not carry over to the next period. When you use credits, the ones that expire first are used first. Expired credits are removed from your account and are not refunded. Your account shows the expiry date of all your credits.

  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, except where a refund is due under the Refund Policy or the law.
  • Credits are personal to your account and cannot be sold or transferred. Logos you make for clients under the Studio client-work license may be handed over as described in the Logo License; the credits themselves cannot.
  • If you delete your account, unused credits are lost.

7. Credit packages, prices and payment

We sell three credit packages: Starter (40 credits), Pro (150 credits) and Studio (500 credits). A package is a one-time purchase and does not renew. On the date shown above, the prices are $9.99, $29.99 and $49.99 (USD), or €9.99, €29.99 and €49.99 (EUR). Current prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you pay. You can also have a package billed monthly instead (section 8).

Downloads and extras for 30 days. A package includes downloads for 30 days from its purchase; the monthly plan includes them for as long as it is active and paid (section 8). While your downloads are active, you can download every logo in your account without a watermark, in every logo format (SVG, PNG up to 5000 px, PDF and EPS, with color versions and layouts), under the Logo License. Each purchase starts its own 30-day period from its own payment; periods are not added together, and while several are active the best package applies. When your downloads end, previews are watermarked again and new downloads need a new package or the monthly plan. Files you downloaded keep their license permanently (section 10). The extra assets depend on the best active package:

  • Pro adds a brand kit (colors and fonts), a social media kit with profile pictures, a favicon and app icons.
  • Studio adds brand guidelines (PDF), mockups, business cards, letterhead with an email signature, priority generation and the client-work license.
  • The monthly plan always includes at least the Pro assets and priority generation, whichever package you choose.
  • USD prices do not include sales tax or other taxes, which are added at checkout where they apply. EUR prices include VAT. The tax shown at checkout depends on your location and, for businesses, on any tax ID you provide.
  • Purchases use Stripe Managed Payments, with Link acting as merchant of record as identified at checkout. It handles applicable indirect taxes, payment support and transaction receipts. Astirna LLC operates Graphivo and provides the software and license. You can pay with the methods shown at checkout (for example cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link). We never see or store your full card number.
  • The total shown at checkout immediately before you pay, including taxes, is the price you pay. Later price changes do not affect completed purchases. If a price is obviously wrong because of a technical error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

8. How a purchase works, and the monthly plan

  1. You choose a package and whether to pay once or monthly. Paying once is the default; the monthly plan is never pre-selected. Before paying, you see a summary with the total price and, for the monthly plan, the renewal price and date.
  2. You pay on the Stripe checkout page. Until you confirm payment there, you can correct your choices or go back.
  3. The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed. We then add your credits, start your downloads and send a confirmation email with the order details, including the date your credits and downloads end.

The monthly plan. The monthly plan is the same package billed every month. It renews automatically each month at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. Each paid month adds 25% more credits than the one-time package (Starter 50, Pro 188, Studio 625); each month's credits expire at the end of that month (section 6). The plan also includes priority generation, at least the Pro assets, and downloads that stay active for as long as the plan is active and paid. To change to another package, cancel the plan and choose the new one. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change for future billing periods, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Cancelling. You can cancel the monthly plan at any time in your account, through our payment provider's customer portal. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and the plan does not renew after that. Months already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it. The month you paid for keeps its credits, downloads and extras until it ends; files you downloaded keep their license. If a renewal payment fails, downloads and extras pause and no further credits are added until the payment is completed. If a plan payment is charged back, the plan is cancelled.

Editing and downloading. You can edit every logo in your account for as long as your account exists and Graphivo operates (see section 17). You can download any of them while your downloads are active (section 7). Changing the brand name to that of a different business makes a new logo, which you can design with your credits.

The contract language is English. Your order details are in your confirmation email and in your account. The version of these terms that applied to your purchase is available from us on request.

9. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU, EEA and UK)

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, the law generally gives you 14 days to withdraw from an online contract. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, this statutory right ends once we start supplying the content, if you have expressly agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal as a result. At checkout we ask for this consent and acknowledgment, and we confirm it in your confirmation email. Supply starts when the credits are added to your account and your downloads are unlocked. Any statutory withdrawal rights that apply to a renewal remain unaffected.

Once supply has started with your consent, the purchase is final, except where the law requires otherwise (for example for defective digital content, see section 18, and the Refund Policy). If the right of withdrawal still applies, you can withdraw by sending a clear statement by email to support@graphivo.com. You may use the following model form, but you do not have to:

To Astirna LLC, 8 The Green, Ste B, Dover, Delaware 19901, United States, support@graphivo.com: I/We hereby give notice that I/We withdraw from my/our contract for the supply of the following digital content (order number): ___ / Ordered on: ___ / Name of consumer(s): ___ / Address of consumer(s): ___ / Date: ___

10. Your logo license

The files you download while your downloads are active are yours, and you receive a worldwide, perpetual and exclusive commercial license to use each final logo you downloaded. We do not sell or license your final designs to anyone else. You may not resell the logos or their files as templates or design assets. With Studio, you may also create logos for clients and transfer the license for a logo to the client it was made for. The license of files you downloaded does not end when your downloads end: the time limit applies to new downloads, not to files you already have. It ends only if the payment under which the files were downloaded is refunded or charged back. The full terms are in the Logo License; every download ZIP includes a license certificate, and your account keeps one for each licensed logo.

11. AI-generated output: what to expect

Designs are generated automatically by AI and then converted to vector shapes by software. Please check them as carefully as you would check work from any supplier.

  • Errors are possible. AI-drawn lettering ("Full AI logo") can be misspelled or distorted, and the conversion to vector shapes can introduce small artifacts. Check every letter and detail before you buy and before you print.
  • Similarity is possible. AI output can resemble existing logos, symbols or trademarks, and similar output may be generated independently for someone else. Each design is original artwork generated for your brief, not a template icon, but we cannot guarantee that it is unique. Designs made from an image you attach may take ideas from that image.
  • No guarantee of protection. We do not guarantee that a logo can be registered as a trademark or that it is protected by copyright. For example, the US Copyright Office does not register material generated purely by AI; your own creative changes may be treated differently, and other countries have their own rules.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for checking that your logo is suitable and does not conflict with anyone else's rights before you use it. We strongly recommend a clearance search by a trademark attorney before you invest in signage, printing or a trademark application.

Nothing on Graphivo is legal advice.

12. Acceptable use

When you write messages, enter brand names or attach images, do not:

  • use other companies' trademarks, logos or brand names that you do not own or are not authorized to use, or try to imitate a known logo;
  • use the name, likeness or image of a real person without their permission;
  • create hateful, harassing, discriminatory, violent-extremist, sexual or otherwise illegal content, or content that infringes anyone's rights;
  • attach images unless you own them or have the right to use them that way, or ask us to copy or convert a logo you have no right to use;
  • try to copy or reverse engineer our software or its instructions, get around free limits, credit limits, bot protection, watermarks or payment, or scrape, automate or overload the service;
  • break the law or help anyone else do any of the above.

Messages and attached images are also checked automatically against the usage policies of the AI service we use (see the Privacy Policy).

13. Moderation, reports and complaints

We use automated filters, including for the images you attach, and we may refuse a message or image, remove content, or limit or suspend an account that breaks these terms. A request that is refused before anything is generated does not use credits. Where practical, we tell you what we did and why. If you think we made a mistake, reply to our message or write to support@graphivo.com; a person will review it.

To report content on Graphivo that you believe is illegal or infringes your rights (for example your trademark), email support@graphivo.com with a description of the content, where it is, why you believe it is unlawful, and your contact details. This address is also our point of contact for users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act; you can write to us in English .

14. Our intellectual property

The website, the software, the editor, our design templates, brand kit layouts and mockup scenes, and the Graphivo name and logo belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the license for your logos, these terms do not give you any rights in them. You may not copy, reverse engineer or resell any part of the service, except where the law expressly allows it.

15. Your content and the permission you give us

You keep whatever rights you have in what you enter or attach (brand names, messages, images). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, process, copy and display that content, and to send your messages and images to the service providers that generate and check designs, only as far as needed to operate, secure and support the service for you. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.

We do not use your designs in our marketing, examples or public gallery without your permission. We do not use your uploads or designs to train our own machine-learning models. The Privacy Policy explains processing by our AI provider.

16. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Graphivo available, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages or capacity limits may cause interruptions. We may improve or change features, styles, fonts and templates. We will not remove the core features you have paid for (editing the logos in your account, downloading them while your downloads are active, and using credits that have not expired) without giving you notice and a chance to download your files.

17. If we ever shut down

If we decide to discontinue Graphivo, we will tell you by email at least 60 days in advance so that you can download your files and use your remaining credits. During the notice period, existing download entitlements continue until their stated expiry. Monthly plans stop renewing. If we end a paid service before its promised expiry, we will refund the undelivered portion. Your logo licenses continue after the service ends.

18. Warranties and your statutory rights

If you are a consumer, you have the statutory rights that apply to digital content in your country. In the EU, for example, you can ask us to bring defective digital content into conformity and, if that fails, to reduce the price or end the contract. These terms do not limit those rights. If a file is missing, corrupt or does not match the package description, contact us and we will fix it or, where the law requires, refund you.

Beyond those rights and the promises in these terms, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". In particular, because of the nature of AI output (section 11), we do not promise that any design will meet your expectations, be unique, or be registrable or protectable.

19. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. In particular, we are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, for fraud, under mandatory product liability laws, and under any guarantee we have given.

Subject to the paragraph above:

  • Consumers in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: where we are slightly negligent, we are liable only if we breach an obligation that is essential to the contract and on which you may normally rely, and then only for the typical damage that was foreseeable when the contract was made.
  • Businesses: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill or rebranding costs, and our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
  • Consumers elsewhere, including the US: to the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some states and countries do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

If you are a business and a third party makes a claim against us because content you entered or attached, or your use of a logo, infringed their rights or broke the law, you will reimburse our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim, to the extent you were responsible.

20. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Graphivo at any time and ask us to delete your account at support@graphivo.com . Cancel an active monthly plan and download your files first: after deletion we cannot restore them, and unused credits are lost. Licenses for logos you have downloaded continue.

We may suspend or close an account if there is a serious or repeated breach of these terms, fraud, abuse of free credits or refunds, or a legal obligation to do so. Where practical, we warn you first and tell you the reason. A suspension does not end your logo licenses, unless every payment of the account was refunded or charged back or a purchase itself was fraudulent.

21. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. For material changes we will notify registered users by email or on the site at least 30 days before they take effect. Changes apply to future use and future purchases; they do not change the terms of purchases and licenses you already have. For an active monthly plan, changes apply from the first billing period after they take effect, and you can cancel before then. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

22. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually live.

If you are a business, the courts of Delaware, United States have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and any mandatory rules on jurisdiction in your favor continue to apply.

23. Dispute resolution

If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@graphivo.com; most issues can be solved quickly.

24. General

  • If any provision of these terms is invalid, the rest remain in effect. Where required by law, the invalid provision is replaced by the statutory rule.
  • We may transfer the contract to a company that takes over the service, as long as your rights are not reduced; we will tell you if this happens. You may transfer a logo license only as described in the Logo License.
  • If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not give it up.
