| Feature | Best route | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| A finished logo saved as a PNG or JPG | Attach it and ask for vector files, or use the vectorize page | Your same design as SVG, PDF, EPS and PNG files |
| A sketch on paper or a napkin | Attach it, describe what to keep and choose a style | Original designs built on your idea |
| A photo of your pet, shop or product | Attach it and say what makes it recognizable | A simple logo built from its key shapes |
| A logo you made in ChatGPT | Vectorize it as is, or recreate it here with editable text | Sharp files, or a version with your name in an editable font |
| Someone else's logo you admire | Describe the qualities you like, never the logo itself | An original logo of your own |
Converting an existing logo uses 2 credits; the free credits you start with cover it.

You have a sketch or a photo: add the words
Attach the image, then say what matters. A clear description gets you closer to your idea than the image alone. Cover these five things.
Subject
What is drawn: "a single mountain peak", not "something outdoorsy".
Shapes and layout
"Inside a circle, the sun as a half disc behind the peak, name underneath."
Line and weight
"Thick even strokes", "solid shapes, no outlines" or "fine line drawing".
Style preset
Pick the closest preset: line-art for a pen sketch, emblem for a badge, geometric for ruler-drawn shapes.
Colors
Hex codes if you have them, like #1F3A5F navy and #F2A541 amber. Otherwise, name two colors.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload a photo and have AI turn it into a logo?
Yes. Attach the photo and describe what matters, such as the subject, its pose and two colors, and pick a style. You get original designs built from its key shapes, which usually makes a cleaner logo than a copy of the photo, since a photo carries far more detail than a logo can use.
How is vectorizing different from generating?
Vectorizing keeps your existing design and turns it into files that stay sharp at any size. Generating creates new designs from your description. If you're happy with your logo and just need SVG, PDF or EPS files, vectorize it; if you want something new, generate.
Will the generated logo look like my sketch?
It follows your sketch and your description, so expect designs built on your idea rather than an exact copy, then say what to change to bring one closer. If you need your exact sketch as a file, attach a clean, high-contrast scan of a finished ink drawing and ask for vector files.
What makes a good file for the vectorize tool?
Bigger and cleaner is better: several hundred pixels across, flat colors, sharp edges and a plain background. Heavy JPG compression, shadows, gradients and photos inside the logo all lower the quality. The preview is free, so check it closely before you pay.
Can I vectorize a logo I found online?
Only if you have the right to use it, such as your own logo or a client's logo you've been hired to update. Converting someone else's logo doesn't give you any rights to it. For your own brand, describe what you like about a reference and generate something original.
My ChatGPT logo has a typo. Can you fix it?
Vectorizing keeps the image as it is, typo included, because the letters are part of the picture. Recreate the design here instead: attach it as a reference, choose Symbol + text, and your name stays in an editable font, spelled exactly as you typed it.
